# Plans & Access

> What each Analyst Consensus API plan can read — endpoints, history, rate limits and daily limits — and how raw source text is cleared.

An API key carries its own plan (separate from your site login). What each plan can read:

| Plan | Endpoints | History | Rate limit | Daily limit |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| **No key** | The public endpoints — [`/assets`](/sentiment/assets), [`/consensus`](/sentiment/consensus-index) without `days`, [`/analyst-views`](/sentiment/analyst-views), [`/calls`](/sentiment/calls), [`/analysts/top`](/sentiment/top-analysts), [`/analysts/{handle}`](/sentiment/analyst-track-record) | Latest point | 60 / min per IP | None (CDN-cached) |
| **Free** | Public + `/consensus` (latest point) + [`/consensus/breakdown`](/sentiment/consensus-breakdown) (source posts as short excerpts + links). No per-analyst data (`/sentiment` → `401 PLAN_REQUIRED`). | 7 days | 10 / min | 100 / UTC day |
| **Premium** | Everything, including per-analyst data; source posts as short excerpts + links | Full | 1,000 / min | None |
| **Enterprise** | Everything, including per-analyst data; source posts as short excerpts + links (the raw source text is a separate per-key Integration clearance, below); custom terms, dedicated onboarding and support | Full | 1,000 / min | None |

* **Premium** — for individuals and small teams. Subscribe on the
[CryptoQuant pricing page](https://cryptoquant.com/pricing) and use the API as part of your
subscription. The daily index is also exposed through the CryptoQuant
  [Indicator API](/indicator-api/consensus).
* **Enterprise** — for institutions and quantitative research teams; pricing is custom per
institution. [Contact us](https://cryptoquant.com/contact-us) to discuss your use case. Keys
issued on the earlier Enterprise agreement (plan id `pro`) keep the full Enterprise access, raw
  source text included.

A request outside your plan answers `401` with `code: "PLAN_REQUIRED"`, `required_plans`,
`upgrade_url` and `contact_url` — see [Errors](/sentiment/errors).

## Raw source text

Raw source text is an **Integration agreement only**, granted per API key (not a plan): a cleared
key receives `/consensus/breakdown` `sources[].statement` = the original post title / text.

Every other key — Free, Premium, Enterprise and admin-owned keys without the clearance — gets
the thesis, narratives, index and bullish / bearish labels + the source link + a short excerpt
(`sources[].excerpt`, the first ≤ 200 characters, original language). Asking for it explicitly
(`source_text=statement`) without the clearance answers `403 RAW_ACCESS_REQUIRED`.

The key-free `/analyst-views` and `/calls` excerpts follow the same ≤ 200-character rule — the
full text never leaves without a cleared key.

## Plan ids

The `plan` field on error bodies and the `x-plan` block of every operation in the OpenAPI document
use these ids:

| id | Plan |
| - | - |
| `free` | Free |
| `premium` | Premium |
| `enterprise` | Enterprise |
| `pro` | Enterprise (the pre-October-2026 Enterprise row — behaves as `enterprise`) |
