# Changelog

> API updates — new indicators, features, and fixes.

We improve our data by providing new indicators, releasing new API features, and fixing bugs.

<Update label="October 8, 2026" tags={["New", "Beta"]}>
  **API v2 On-chain Data is live in beta for Ethereum.** 62 endpoints under `/v2/network/`,
  `/v2/flows/`, `/v2/indicator/`, and `/v2/market/capitalization` serve network activity,
  exchange flows, and supply for native ETH, ERC-20 tokens, and the stablecoins issued on
  Ethereum.

  * **One path per metric, with the asset as a query parameter.** v1's
    `/v1/eth/network-data/supply`, `/v1/erc20/network-data/supply?token=aave`, and
    `/v1/stablecoin/network-data/supply?token=usdt_eth` become
    [`/v2/network/supply`](/v2/network/supply) with `?asset=eth`, `?asset=aave`, and
    `?asset=usdt`. The `asset` value drops the chain suffix — `usdt`, not `usdt_eth`.
  * **Available windows and response fields depend on the asset class.** `eth` and `erc20`
    supply is served at `block`, `10min`, `hour`, and `day`; `stablecoin` supply at `block`
    and `day`, with three extra fields for circulating supply. Every endpoint page carries
    the table for its own classes.
  * [**In-House Flow**](/v2/flows/in-house-flow) is new for Ethereum — movement between
    wallets of the same exchange, previously available only for Bitcoin.
  * Same `status`/`result` envelope, Bearer authentication, and `window`/`from`/`to` time
    convention as the rest of the API. See the
    [On-chain Data Overview](/v2/onchain/overview) for the full v1 → v2 path mapping.

  v1 remains fully supported. During the beta, endpoint shapes are final but we may still correct historical values; changes will be listed here.

  **Known issue at launch**

  * `exchange=all_exchange` on `/v2/flows/exchange/*` for some ERC-20 tokens (for example `busd`) is aggregated
    over a per-token exchange whitelist, the same rule the v1 `/erc20/exchange-flows/*` endpoints use. The total can
    therefore differ from the sum of the individual exchanges returned for the same token. Per-exchange values are exact.

  **Sentiment Data documentation moved here.** The Analyst Consensus API reference — previously
  hosted at `consensus.cryptoquant.com/docs/api` — now lives in the new
  [Sentiment Data](/sentiment/overview) tab, so every CryptoQuant API is documented in one place.

  * Eight endpoints: the [Analyst Consensus Index](/sentiment/consensus-index), the
    [Consensus Breakdown](/sentiment/consensus-breakdown), [Analyst Stance](/sentiment/analyst-stance),
    [Analyst Views](/sentiment/analyst-views), [Recent Calls](/sentiment/calls),

    and the [asset registry](/sentiment/assets).
  * Its own [authentication](/sentiment/authentication) (`X-API-Key`), [plans](/sentiment/plans-and-access),
    [enums](/sentiment/enums), [error codes](/sentiment/errors) and [agent surfaces](/sentiment/for-agents)
    (OpenAPI, `llms.txt`, MCP). The API itself is unchanged — base URL
    `https://consensus.cryptoquant.com/api/v1/`.

  **API v2 Market Data is live.** A new market data layer under the `/v2/market/` namespace
  serves raw market time-series — prices, volumes, and derivatives metrics — both per
  individual exchange and as CryptoQuant's cross-exchange aggregate.

  * Five metrics: [OHLCV](/v2/market/exchange-spot-ohlcv), [Trade](/v2/market/exchange-spot-trade),
    [Funding Rate](/v2/market/exchange-swap-funding-rate),
    [Open Interest](/v2/market/exchange-swap-open-interest), and
    [Liquidation](/v2/market/exchange-swap-liquidation), across `spot` and `swap` instruments.
  * Two discovery endpoints — [List Active Exchanges](/v2/market/info-exchanges) and
    [List Active Symbols](/v2/market/info-symbols) — to enumerate the exchanges and symbols
    that currently have data.
  * Same `status`/`result` envelope, Bearer authentication, and `window`/`from`/`to` time

  **API v2 community-built indicators are live.** A new curated indicator layer built by the
  CryptoQuant **Vibe Quants** community is now available under the `/v2/community/` namespace.

  * 10 research-grade Bitcoin indicators released, including
    [Apparent Demand](/v2/community/bitcoin-apparent-demand),
    [MVRV Z-score](/v2/community/bitcoin-mvrv-z-score),
    [Metcalfe's Price](/v2/community/bitcoin-metcalfe-price),
    [PnL Index](/v2/community/bitcoin-pnl-index), and the
    [Bull-Bear Market Indicator](/v2/community/bitcoin-bull-bear-indicator).
  * Every metric ships with a built-in interpretation guide — what it measures, how to read it,
    key thresholds, and which signals to combine it with.
  * Same `status`/`result` envelope, Bearer authentication, and `window`/`from`/`to` time

  * Tether USD (Omni) `usdt_omni` — in accordance with the

    data is not updated from September 1, 2025.
  * Sai (Old Dai) `sai` — migrated to DAI, deprecated.
  * HTX USD `husd` — unused after 2023, deprecated.
  * USDK `usdk` — unused after 2023, deprecated.
  * COCOS-BCX `cocos`, DeRace Token `derc`, Merit Circle `mc`, Tribe `tribe`, Serum `srm`
